Manager of Enterprise Content
at 11Alive WXIA & WATL
Jeffery Reid, a veteran broadcast journalist with more than 30 years of experience, is the manager of Enterprise Content at 11Alive and is a former executive producer for CNN Productions.
As a senior level Executive Producer, Jeffery is respected as an industry leader with a history of achievement in producing award winning content for network and local news programming including relevant and highly rated documentaries and breaking news such as “Black in America”, and “Words that Changed a Nation (Martin Luther King).”
Recognized as one of the top producers for special reports and newscasts, Jeffery is passionate about developing content that engages audiences and increases viewership. Strong creative and management leadership are a critical part of his background as well as oversight of million-dollar budgets and successful management of technical teams.
Additional documentary work includes programs about the Virginia Tech massacre, the Iraq war, the Oklahoma City bombing, among other topics. Jeffery was named along with Soledad O’Brien, to Ebony Magazines Power 150 in 2009, ranking third behind Oprah and Tavis Smiley.
Jeffery says he is excited to share his expertise and provide cutting edge, meaningful content with the viewership of 11Alive WXIA & WATL.
